All Folk'd Up Proudly Presents MITCH DUREAULT KITCHEN PARTY
Mitch Dureault is a well-versed fiddler, born and raised in Southern Saskatchewan, who's lively and energetic fiddling style is rooted in the Canadian trad. music repertoire. Finding inspiration in the day to day, Mitch embraces the old-time style, with influences from his grandfather's own playing, as well as pulls inspiration from the Celtic and American Traditions.
Mitch is active in the preservation and continuity of the Saskatchewan fiddling tradition and is involved as a board member of Kitchen Party Music Inc, and CAMP Sask Arts, in which he helps create, develop, and deliver music programming in multiple communities each year throughout Saskatchewan.
For All Folk’d Up 2022, Mitch will be joined by his friends, the fantastic Donna & Morgan Turk, who are some of the finest musicians you could ever meet!
Mitch is proud to be back playing in Montmartre, the place where his music all started nearly 20 years ago at Centre 48.
Tunes will be rippin’, rosin flyin’, and feet will be dancing during Mitch Dureault’s Kitchen Party, Sunday on the main stage at All Folk’d Up!
